It’s been many years since I was last on a motorbike and with the dodgy leg I never thought I would ever get on one again, well that all changed thanks to Jason and the guys at Bulldog Triumph. I knew the bike I wanted and the colour and after spending a fair amount of time discussing with Jason it soon became clear I had made the right choice.

So here she is ‘Lilly’ who will be our main back up vehicle should we run into any unfortunate episodes whilst on the road but I feel she will be used more for hooning around on the beaches and popping to the nearest grocery store for some supplies.

The best thing about taking a back up motorbike is that if I feel the need to go off and explore then I have the ability to get off the beaten track with the camera and get to a few remote places that we just can’t with the truck.

In the meantime I shall be taking it slow and steady whilst I remind myself how much fun a motorbike can be and to raise the skills (serious shortage these days) prior to any trip that she will be coming along on.
