Journey from Goodwood to Dover

We are finally on our way from the final fish & chips meet up in Hastings (thanks to Mikey & Pete from Team OMJ for organising). Our little convoy through the East Sussex countryside allowed us to avoid the chaos that other teams were facing on the M23. We did have one minor incident. Team OMJ who we were convoying with ran out of petrol so a quick run to the petrol station with the Jerry Can soon got everyone back on the road again.

As we were running behind schedule we knew we were going to miss our ferry booking. Thankfully we had the foresight to buy a flexi-ticket so when we turned up at the port we were just put on the next ferry at 6pm.
By the time we left Dover we were just over 3 hours behind schedule. Our run through France we hoped to do after the ferry seemed unlikely so we started to look for somewhere to camp nearer to Calais.

Our attempts were unsuccessful & we ended up sleeping in the car in a small car park by a church graveyard & some tennis courts.

Nothing creepy there!!!
